I replaced the water pump and trying to connect the lower unit to the motor. I have two questions. First is there a way to line up the two pipes with the water pump, Second It seems as though something is catching when I try to push the lower unit on. I know the shaft is at least started into the motor because when I turn the prop it turns over the motor. What could this be catching on? Thanks for any help.
