I just ordered new spark plugs for my 1974 evinrude 70hp 3 cylinder and i ordered what it calls for UL77V but the person sent me QL77CC. Will these plugs work as a replacement for my motor since they are still 77 series? i have ran the QL77JC4 in it and they run good gapped at 0.030. the ones my motor calls for (tag on motor) are surface gap UL77V but my repair manual says use QL77JC4 but my question is will QL77CC work just as good? i can ship them back but its just a hassle if these will work.

Yes the QL77CC or the QL77JC4 will work...I like the "4`s"...........

so even though the engine manual calls for a QL77JC4 the QL77CC will work just the same gapped at 0.030? also what advantage would i get by using the "4's" over the "CC's" i bought a 24 pack or the CC's and i dont want to keep them if they wont work just as good as the "4's". but if they will work ill just keep them.
