When I push the control forward and go to throttle, the little thing that the shift cable connects to moves back, so when i bring the handle back to neutral the teeth on the handle get out of synce with the little gizmo thing. The handle then is locked and i have to take it all apart to reset it. I have adjusted the shift cable as far out as it will go and still have the issue. Have been working on it for a year now and everytime i think its right i hook everything back up and then the same issue.

The handle is hard to push forward to start, kinda like its trying to get into gear too much. If i can explain anything better let me know. Thank you

the truion nut is suppose to have a plastic spacer around it. to keep it tight. you may need to replace cables.

I replaced the shift cable about 4 mths before this issue started. Would the length of the cable make a difference?

if it is binding, sharp bend, it could. make sure the motor moves freely.
