Hello
I haven't ran my Johnson motor for 2-3 years. Went to look at my 5 gallon tank and appears to have debris in the bottom. Any help on how to clean this out.
The tank is bone dry at the moment. Wanted to get new gas and oil in the tank. Afraid it might not start due to the fact of it sitting. Anything I should look for since its been sitting for some time. Motor has been stored in my basement on a stand.
Thanks for your time.

In the past I have put a couple hand full of 3/8 nuts in the tank and shook the tank until it looked clean. Then dump out all the nuts and trash and flush the tank. Or, you could purchase a new poly tank, they are not that expensive, and be sure you have a clean tank.
