Ill try and simplify this the best i can. I have a 1995 bass tracker that had a 1995 mercury/tracker 9.9 on it. i am repowering it with a 1974 merc 500 (50hp) I have the wiring harness for it but its in bad shape on the ends that are exposed. (first 3 pictures) What i am wanting to do is cut back some of the harness and wire it to my key switch (4th and 5th pictures) thats already in the boat. It is a push to choke style six terminal switch. The back of my switch has terminals ; C,S,M,B,M,A. Now looking inside the motor, the wires i have are grey to choke solenoid, salmon to the blue terminal on the switchbox, yellow to the solenoid, and red to voltage regulator? So i am guessing these are the only wires i need to hook to my keyswitch. What terminals they go on is where im having the problem. Any body ever done this?

C is the choke, salmon or orange goes to one (M)agneto, ground or black goes to other (M)agneto, yellow goes to (S)olenoid and Red+ goes to (B)attery. A is for accessory(purple)

And the Solenoid wire should be through the Neutral switch. What control do you have.
