hi i got a 1974 mercury 20hp 200 and i had it running a cuple of days ago and i had it running full throttle with the prop off and in gear. this is the only way it would run
it would not go down into a idle. the next day i went to show my dad that i got it running it will not run now i have the prop off and in gear with it at full throttle that was the way that i got it running now it will not start i have the choke out and it just spudders and the once i take the choke off if dies right off then it takes like 10 more pulls then it does the same thing. i have new plugs and new wires going to the coils and it has spark and it is getting fuel to the plugs and then it does not run
