I scored this boat yesterday for $400.00 it is a 1974 Starcraft Mariner-V 16 footer with 2 live wells, 50 hp Johnson power shift with electric tilt and trim' a minn kota 765mx trolling motor and trailer. The boat has been sitting for 14 years since it was last used. Went and got it all registered today with Indiana BMV so now i will start on it.
It has rotten floor, transom is weak and the cable pulley steering has seen better days and it needs a good cleaning and paint job. Trailer lights are shot as well. Now the fun begins.
The motor does start but needs carbs cleaned good and the trim and tilt does work also.
I sold my old 14 foot Starcraft when i was fishing at the lake lol.

Does anyone know how to remove the floor in one of these, the live wells are welded in and can the transom be replaced with removing the cap of the boat?
