My manual says to use UL-77V spark plugs ( the gap is permanent ) but when I got the boat it had QL77JC4 plugs in it ( they are a little cheaper I guess ) what is the gap for these plugs, I have seen some set at .030 but I know most sleds run near .016-.022???
Also the page that says the type of gas to use is missing, premium or regular?
The sleds of that vintage said to use premium but todays sleds are good to go on regular.
And last but not least, is it possible to put a power trim on after the the fact, that motor gets kinda heavy after pulling it up a couple of times, are there used ones around that would work and what do they go for.

Thanks.

QL77JC4's at .030 will work fine, as will reg gas. T&T can be added. You can find a factory unit to add on or you can go aftermarket.

QL77JC4 0.040 low speed, or QL78V or L78V non-adjustable for high speed.
