Well, what do you want to do?

I suspect that it will turn out to be more than just rings and a bore job on at least one cylinder will be necessary.

But even if you bought three new pistons from Wiseco and overbored all three cylinders, if you do the work yourself (other than boring) then parts will cost you less than a running competitor's engine. However, parts will cost more than the engine is worth in running condition.

SO: do you want to play with it or are you disgusted and just want to get rid of it? You can probably get more for parts on ebay than the whole engine will sell for.

thanks frank, i would rather get rid of it cuz it is TOO MUCH MOTOR for my 1959 cruisers inc wooden lapstarke, should have about a 50HP------HOW RELIABLE ARE THESE OLD CHRYSLERS??? If it would be trouble free, i may just hold on to it.---------thanks again-----jon
