Hi all,
Finally started working on my motor. I am in the process of removing the engine from the boat and cannot seem to get the locknut off of the shift cable where it connects to the shift mechanism on the motor. The "pin" spins when trying to unscrew the locknut. I don't want to destroy it. What to do??
Here is a pic:
Went back out and stared at it and I still cannot understand how they got a locknut to thread tight onto a pin that spins. What am I missing here????
I need to get this motor off the boat pronto as the boat is blocking a driveway.
