1975 Johnson 15 HP

Got great spark, fuel pump and carb rebuilt, but engine will not start even when gas introduced into the carb--any suggestions? When I replaced the points, I gapped them at .20 at the SET logo on the cam--is this the correct method?<br /><br />Thanks, roger

Give a little more info on this.<br /><br />What is the model number?<br /><br />When was it run last or a little history?<br /><br />Did it run before installing new points?<br /><br />What plugs are installed and what is the gap?<br /><br />When you say "gas introduced into the carb", does this mean into the throat with a squirt bottle?<br /><br />EDIT: I just noticed you had another thread on this issue. It would be better to continue on that thread so that all could see the history of what you've done.
