I have had a hard time trying to get this thing to run right this year. First it was overheating so I replaced the impeller. was still overheating so I put a thermostat in it. Now its not overheating but now it will run perfect at home on the hose but when I took it to the lake yesterday it quit running right off the trailer
. I pulled the pull start maybe 15 times and it finally fired again. Went down the lake about 1/2 mile and it sputters and dies again. I sprayed some 2 cycle carb cleaning spray in where the fuel hose connects to the carb and it run fine the rest of the day at wot but wants to sputter and die when I try to idle it. My first instinct is that there is some junk in the carb bowl but I have cleaned the carb out so many times I want to be sure this time before I do it again. It does have a new fuel filter and it is before the fuel pump(if that matters) and the plugs looked dry while it was acting up. Anyone experienced this??? thanks
