I just bought a boat yesterday. The guy put a new impeller in it. Im questioning his mechanical abilities. I got it out on the water. No neutral, no reverse, also while cranking the starter was getting really hot. When i got back to the house, I took the foot off. Fixed the reverse problem. While the foot was off I took the starter off, it was toast. I spun the motor over by hand. It was free. Then kept turning BAM. The flywheel stopped. Turned the motor backwards a little and back forward. Still stopped. So i took the head off. (i thought it was the head) the water jacket tricked me. Took the sides off the powerhead. Cylinder #1 slid into closer to the crank, about 3/4 of a inch. Sorry for the long story, ill cut to the chase.

Does anyone know where i can get a replacement sleeve?

Does anyone have a block that i could have bored or honed?

Hi,

These guys may have a sleeve.

However you probably look at your
rod and crank. That is where you get
the difference in stroke of the three
pistons.
