What other year models and hp's have the same lower unit that will bolt right up to my 1975 9.8? Serial # 4083427

I believe from the mid 1970s on up to the mid 1980s should work. Not sure what the last year of that angled design was, but it was around 1984 or 1985. Prior to about 1972 there was a lot of changes in shaft composition, shift rod lengths, shift orientation. You can check online parts listings to confirm the basics - driveshaft, housing and shift rod are the critical ones.

If replacing the entire unit, the driveshaft diameter at the water pump doesn't matter - the business end at the powerhead was the same splines for both.
