1975 model 10R75C 9.9 Johnson outboard

Help!<br /> <br />I own a 1975 model 10R75C 9.9 Johnson outboard. The oil ran out of the lower unit while I was running it, the drain plug (screw) was loose. The lower unit is locked up, I can no longer shift the unit.. How can I go about determining the problem.. If I need to remove the lower unit, what is the procedure or were can I find the Procedure.<br /> <br />Johns

If this is new to you my first suggestion is to purchase a repair manual for that motor. Doing the work is not difficult and accomplishing what you want to do is not difficult.
