I got a Kingfisher 7.5 on trade and it's not bad since I made my money and it like I only need $50 to break even with an extra outboard to boot, but I have never seen one and he said he was having starting problems, so I put some gas to it and tried choking it to see if it even sounded like it was going to fire and it did not. I have not checked to see if I have a spark yet (since it is hard to pull the rope and hold the wire close enough to spark plug to see anything). I was just wondering if anyone has had this problem or if there are any ideas or thoughts of what I would do in case.........
Sorry to be so vague. I can't even find the gear shift on this thing. He said it was air cooled, but I see what looks like water intake hole just above the prop and three weep holes up the lower unit. If anyone can tell me if I should sell it for $75 and let them mess with it or should I try and fix it and maybe get a little more back, since I have a 12',50's Jon Boat to put it on the back of! Thanks for any and all suggestions, I enjoy the honesty of the people I get replies from.

The Model # K7503110E, serial #1061795 and type #XTV 52259. I hope no one thinks I am asking the same question twice. I put in two other questions about water cooled and gear shift. I sent the pictures to iboats form from my email, not sure what "addy" is? I haven't got the coil cap off yet. I have to get a puller today or tomorrow. Thanks again and if you need me to send you the pictures somewhere else, just email me at my address. I hope you still have it, if not, send me a private message and I will send them back. I really hope this is it, if I get it running, I have a 1950's Jon Boat that would be perfect for it! Sincerely, engcottop
