this is my new project she is a butte! i love the layout and styling. im the 3rd owner. im still trying to find out more about her, she seems to be a lost brand. there is no other badges on her even the title just says riviera. to me it looks like an old sea ray srv190. the mfg tag says "Oregon fiberglass-riviera boats" my plan is to build here into a retro-resto-mod wakeboard boat. here is a few snap shots of her i picked her up last night

if any one has any input please share!

well got the carpet up floor is completely rotted out stringers have seen better days. the plan of attack is to pull the stringers out leaving the fiberglass shell and use a pourable stringer "seacast" or something similar. we will see how it goes i have more of the floor to get out and still need to check out the motor area and see how far the stringers are rotted out...

well got some more work done tonight the floor is all the way out some one was in there before me and did a shotty job. the stringers are cut all the way thru on the front just under the drivers feet. from the transom up ten feet is all been redone. there is no glass capping the stringers. the PO also just glassed 1/2 ply on the side of the stringers to join then at the bow to the original stringers. no it looks like a gota pul the cap i really didn't want to. this also means seacast it out for the stringers too.

Let me be the FIRST to Welcome you to the iBoats Dry Dock!!!

I would recommend laminating Ext. Grade Fir Plywood to fabricate your stringers using a 4' overlap. I'd use polyester resin and 1.5oz CSM for my materials and finish off with 1708 Biaxial cloth.

As far as popping the cap, it sure makes life easier, but it is NOT 100% necessary. BUT... with that much rot in the stringers I'm bettin that your transom and motor mounts are gunna be toast too, so you might as well be ready to to a total restoration.;)

Again, welcome Aboard
