I have a 1976 115hp Jonny that is in bad need of coils. I have located a set that the person would sell me 4 of them for a VERY nice price compared to new price. My question is they are not the green coils with the metal plates around them but they bolt up the same and have the plug wires coming out of them but from apperances would have to wire to the power pack. Are these coils a replacement for the original or from a different style ignition. The plug wires exit from the coil at a different angle is all that I can see. The person with these coils is 99.9% sure he has seen these coils used as replacements for the green ones but I need to know before I lay the cash down and end up with something I cant use.
