I have 2 problems, First I was running it on the river going about 40 mph and all of the sudden it dies. I started it again and once I planed out it dies again. I ran it again and before it started to die again I mashed the bulb to see if it would keep it running but it didn't. Is this a fuel pump problem? <br /><br />My second problem is that on the way back going to my truck I lost my forward progress. I immediately shut it off. I started it, shifted forward and all it did was rev up, I put it back to neutral then I shifted it to reverse and it went backward. I had to ride all the way back on reverse against probably 10mph currents. It was a terrible day. Are my gears gone?<br /><br />Are these 2 problems related?
