1976 135HP evinrude loses spark too 1 cylinder afer idle

I have a 1976 135 that has a stumble/miss after idle, it took3 guys in the boat, but figured out that the motor has spark to #1 cylinder at idle, but it loses spark at 1/2 throttle thru full throttle. Changed plugs,swapped wires on power pack, still not letting power to #1 after 1/2 throttle.. My question is, powerpak or pickup coil under base? or somethin else. Thanks

That single power pack engine is a difficult troubleshoot engine. All of the major ignition components are fairly expensive. Some troubleshooting is worth your while if you avoid buying parts you don't need. You might want to check the stator output and then the output of the timer base as starters.
