What are the two small (maybe 1/8") vacumm, vent or fuel lines that run from the front of the powerhead under the carb to the left side of the powerhead and one to each cylinder. On my engine they are clear vinyl looking.

Engine was bogging down a little today and I noticed a small hole worn thru one of the lines. Just wondering what the purpose of these lines are and if that might have been my problem.

Thanks, Gary

Those are recirculation hoses. There are one way valves where the hoses connect to the motor under the carbs. I'm no engineer, but I do know that a hole in a hose or a stuck recirculation valve will play heck with getting your motor to run right.
