1976 55hp johnson lower unit interchange

Will a 1970 50hp lower unit swap into my 1977 55hp johnson ?

Don't see a listing for 1970 50hp ?

A 1971 50 hp would be electic shift and will not interchange.---A 1969 55 hp is a 3 cylinder and has a different crankshaft spline and will not interchange.----Post the model # or pictures of the 2 motors.-----Sellers will often claim ---" yes it fits " in many cases.

It's a 71 electric shift the seller just told me thanks guys
