is it making like a squeaking noise? it could be the impeller, clean your plugs maybe change them make sure you have spark and make sure you dont mix your gas TOO rich, its ok to go a little richer like 45 to 1 or even 40 to 1 but going any richer your going to ask for carbon deposits, also make sure you are full of gear oil in your lower unit, maybe do a chage go out and buy some 80w 90 gear oil
