1976 85 hp Evinrude V4 - Can't find Fuel Pump Repair Kit

Does anyone know what part number I should be ordering for my 76 85 hp fuel pump? The only listings I can find for an 85 hp are for 1978 and later, and for 1976, only up to 75hp. The pump is mounted on the carbs instead of the block so I guess it is hose driven. Thanks for any help you guys can provide!!!<br /><br /> <br />Tex

Couldn't find a repair kit number but the number of the fuel pump is 438559.

Texx,<br /><br />I don't believe OMC/BMC makes a kit for this type of pump. However there are aftermarket kits available. I recently purchased a GLM #40820 for my '76 85hp. It worked great + it was a good deal at about $8.00. I imagine you probably paid around $50 for the OMC pump.

I found it on line at an outfit called T.C. Electronics out of Canada. They carry a full line of GLM parts. I find their web site confusing and difficult at times, but if you can find what you want, their prices are quite good.
