1976 850 pee hole

I have a 1976 850 Thunderbolt as stupid as this sounds where on the powerhead does your pee hole hose connect to.

On mine the hose is connected to the pee hole on the cowl but cannot figure out where the other end should connect to on the powerhead as there is no fitting anywhere. It was left unhooked.

This has been a project boat that I have pieced together.
I also have a mannual but it does not show much when it comes to a 76 850.

did you look between the #2 and #3 spark plug? thats where mine is, I keep having other problems with my 76 850. I just posted a couple of minutes ago, how much do you know about your merc?

i'd start it up and see where it's peeing from.

I did start it but there was no leaks coming form anywhere.

aaron-1 thanks for your post I was coming to the same conclusion but what was/is there is an oil pressure line. Which goes to a gauge on the dash.

I decided to pull the line off and start the motor and see what it does

thar she blows
and a good stream at that.

I will pick up the proper fitting tommorow so I can connect the hose properly.

Unsure what to do with the line and gauge.
