G'Day. First rule of thum. Remove the spark plugs and check the colour. If they are all the same colour then move on. Do a compression check. all cyls should be equal. check the spark. Put the plugs back on the plug leads and hold the plugs to earth. then get someone crank the motor. If no luck then holler for help again.

Billyjack

I just experenced the same problem with my 70hp (83')evinrude. I did a decarb, and then replaced the plugs. I also replaced the fuel pump and the engine is running great. Try decarb first it's cheaper. If that doesn't seem to work, before you change the fuel pump, start the engine put a load on it and if it starts to stall idle it high and hit the choke it will try to stall and hopefully loosen the junk it the carbs. Good luck

Deuce

Pump the primer bulb and see if it picks up. If it does get a new fuel pum kit. Check for air leaks too.
