Hi there starcraft owners. There are no real questions here just happy to own my first boat and wanted to share it with you. I recently bought a 1976 Islander 22' with a 1978 envirude 115. Well kept boat with fish finder, compass, 2 new plastic gas tanks, a custom aluminum top which keeps the sun off you ,as well as the normal things like an anchor, life vest etc. The boat is in amazing shape for its age-still can't believe it is 31 yrs. old--doesn't leak at all, feels rock solid and the engine runs like a top. Everything works on the boat. Came with a trailer, new tires/bearings, bearing buddies. Previous owner replaced the transom and did a very nice job. I got it for $1000.00. From reading through the forums it looks (I hope) like I got a good deal. I am excited to really try it out as I only dipped it to test for leaks and general workability of the rest of the boat. I will post a couple pics asap. I am glad to have found this forum.
Cheers,
Damon
