Hello all,
Could someone weigh in on the life span and reliability of this kind of engine? If I was into a very nice example of one for say, $700, would that be a good investment in your minds?
It looks great, has had ligth use, but is almost 30 years old.
Thanks so much,
CT

CT....the 20's and 25's are very reliable motors with a good block. I still get them in the shop and they run really well. If you want to check the condition, take it to a local wrench for a check out....spark, compression, lower unit, etc. Take it out for a spin and see how it responds to throttle settings. Not really that bad of a price for a 20 in really good condition and electric start to boot.
