1976 johnson 85hp. fuel lines

leaking fuel at carbs and fuel pump.<br />want to replace all fuel lines, can anyone tell me what size fuel lines i need and can i get them at parts store and make them myself.<br />dont want to take old ones off till im ready to put new ones on.

You may have a hard time finding the right sizes at an auto parts store. DO NOT use vacuum hose.<br /><br />Your outboard dealer will have the right size(s) in bulk. You don't need much.

Most of the fuel hoses under the cowling are specially formed. The bends in the hoses are heat formed to flow fuel. Regular fuel hose will kink when bent and will restrict fuel flow. Could cause power head problems. Get the hoses you need from a Johnson dealer.
