Hi again everyone,

So I figured out I need Champion L77JC4 spark plugs, though does anyone know what I gap them at?

Thanks again,
J

Re: 1976 Johnson Stinger 75HP - Spark plugs

This is straight from the manual.

1. OMC recommends the use of Champion QL77JC4 or L77JC4 plugs gapped to 0.040 in. for sustained low-speed operation. For sustained high-speed use, OMC recommends Champion QL78V or L78V (non-adjustable gap).

3. OMC recommends the use of Champion QL77JC4 or L77JC4 plugs gapped to 0.040 in. on models prior to 1989 and 0.030 in. on 1989 models for sustained low-speed operation. For sustained high-speed use, OMC recommends Champion QUL77v or UL77v (non-adjustable gap).

so i'm guessing 0.040

order a real manual, outboardbooks.com Ql77JC4 gapped at .030 works just fine.
