1976 Johnson Stinger 75HP - What size gear case do I have?

Hi everyone,

Im trying to track down the right part number/right one in general of a water pump repair kit for this motor.

I have it narrowed down, although most sites have the kit in two flavours, large and small gear case........so how do I know which one I want?

1976 Johnson 75HP 3cyl, loop charged.

Anyone can tell me what part # I need to replace water pump (the whole thing), or at least enlighten me of what size gear case I have?

If you have a short shaft (15-inch) transom, you have the small gearcase. If you have a long shaft (20-inch) transom, then you have the standard (large) gearcase...
