1976 Merc 20 HP Replace Spark Plug Wire

I have a 1976 20 HP Merc that I need to replace the spark plug wire on it. The problem is that I do not know how to disconnect the wire from the coil.

Serial Group #12
Coil Assembly A-339-5748A2

Is the yellow plug wire wired into the coil, or does it screw into the coil or should it just pull out of the coil?

Thanks, it seems to spin and I have pulled on it pretty hard but it does not come out. Is it designed like a distributor cap on a car when they are held in by friction?
