Good day, all. I have a 1976 Mercury 110 (9.9 hp) outboard and have realized both the upper and lower motor mounts have are broken. I have searched far and wide for replacement parts without any success. I have looked for salvage outboards to scrap and cannot find anything.

I was curious if anyone had any creative workarounds for fixing the motor mounts without actually being able to find replacements.
Is there a screw configuration or something of the sort I can rig up to secure both the upper and lower mounts.

Thank you in advance!!!

Sierra made some Merc Motor mounts, but they were somewhat scarce for my '93 135V6. I do not know if they made one for you. I did eventually find some on the internet. A local dealer may have one in the back, in the dark and in the corner, you never know. Of course, they will likely make snide remarks about such an old motor.

My motor mount was all rubber, round, tapered at both ends and fatter in the middle. My workaround was some combination of stainless steel washers and rubber washers of the right diameter, in some sort of sandwich arrangement. Luckily I didn't need to try it. Pipe fittings may also fit something for you. High performance Mercs use solid mounts, BTW.

The internet is pretty good. You need to be persistent.
