1977 115 evinrude thermostat(s)???

I have a 1977 115 evinrude and am in the process of replacing the waterpump and it was suggested to me that I check the thermostat(s) at the same time. I have a clymers manual for it and it is a little broad on this topic in the manual and I searched for a thermostat replacement and none was listed. Is there not a thermostat on this motor???

Look at the rear of the motor towarrds the bottom of the block. See 2 short fat hoses. They go from the block down to the thermostat housing. Good luck changing the tstats. It would be easier if a man had 3 hands.
