Hello,
I am restoring a 1977 Aluminum Mirrocraft and thanks to Iboats forum I have been able to make a lot of progress! Although iboats has been really helpful I have hit a snag that I cant seem to find any more information about. I am currently trying to remove the old transom and there are bolts which hold the transom against the aluminum. After removing the nuts I thought I could just hit the bolts out of the boat however it seems there is an additional nut in between the transom and aluminum. I have attached images of the transom and the best picture I could get of the nut that I can see. I am debating just cutting the bolt but I figured I would look for some better advice on here first!
