Hey guys looking for any kind of advice on this motor I have had it around two years I just recently replaced my impeller before boating season started. Last weekend I took my boat pulled it off the trailer left running while I was at the dock getting my stuff ready everything was running and idling good when I went to take off I made it about 100 yards downstream and was noticing a great loss of power I 21st over heating I shut it down let it cool off for about 45 minutes it took a minute to start back up but I got back on the trailer and home I checked compression and both cylinders were running around 62 psi which I know is low I also pulled my lower unit to see if maybe there was something not letting water through when I drained my gear oil it was very milky anyone have any idea on what I might need to change or replace now I know a head gasket purchase is in my future but should I get lower unit or shift seals any help would be greatly appreciated
