1977 American Speedboat ABC with OMC190 - Custom Build

1977 American Speedboat ( ABC American ) OMC 190 Ford 302 V8

I just picked up this boat a few weeks ago (I didn't strap it on the trailer, btw). Seems not to be too many out there. Does anyone else have one of these?

I have started rebuilding this boat, along with some custom touches and changes. I do fiberglass, carbon fiber and metal work so this project should be fun! I will try to keep some photos coming of the process.

I also have a 1977 American.These boats were made in Spokane Washington, which is where I live.My boat is exactly the same set up as yours is.

FYI the OMC's are becoming hard to work on due to lack of parts etc. Hopefully she's a good runner. I like the styling of the boat.

I just picked up a 1976 American 235hp. Will likely need some parts sourcing help as I restore it. Has been stored inside for the last 30 years.
