I have these two motors. I was wondering what they might be worth. The 140 has a warped head. I removed it to get it smoothed and never did. It is a complete motor and the gear case seems to be in good shape. The 135 is missing the gear case and carbs. I believe it had good compression when I checked it a long time ago. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

Weigh everything and use $201/ton for mixed scrap metal prices.

They may be worth something as parts, however based on description, I consider them scrap

NO NO NO first you pull the heads on the 135 and see if you have the high compression ones. If you have those they are worth more than both motors combined!!!!

Pull the heads take pics and post them. I dont think the 140 is special. But early 135s had the high compression heads.
