hey everyone I'm starting a new project this year got this boat for free late fall of this past year hope to start the remodeling of this vessel when warm weather permits I'm going on a budget but hope to get as much progress done as possible this year the beauty's is a red bottom white top trihull galaxy with a merc120 inboard in the back engine has a cracked exhaust manifold and has been sitting for 5-7 years in limbo of a previous restoration. with no title or key and no knowledge of the infrastructure of the hull its the biggest project iv taken on yet I'm only 22 and with limited knowledge so any advice and experienced tips will be gratefully appreciated. I will post pictures tomorrow. when I received the boat it was full with a ton of beer cans and a huge wasps nest and garbage bag. they have sense been removed and the trailer was being worked on I rebuilt driver side bearings and hub assembly when the cold weather hit. once I get some warmer weather I will jack up the boat block the back end and front then remove trailer for the rest of servicing I also fould 2 new tires out back of the shop that fit but one has bad bead. I will restore the trailer then start work on the boat I am new to iboats but hope to make some friends and followers to join me in this experience and offer whatever knowledge available. thank u. I will try to upload new pictures on progress every week if possible. as well as any concerns I may have thanks again

Before Investing any time and money in this Project You MUST make sure and get TITLE to the Boat and Trailer. In some states this is NOT an easy task for a Boat thats been off the Water for an extended period of time and if you don't have contact with the previous Title Holder!!!

I do have contact he is my neighbor and I have talked to dmv and gotten the proper paperwork to fill out to get a new title the boat has been off water for almost 10 yrs and even if they cannot contact the last person to register they said they can process it with a bill of sale from the previous owner if they didn't get it registered or title switched over. mt local marina also said they can sell me a new ignition switch and key kit. so that doesn't seem to be much of an issue a little paperwork and some waiting for processing. I live in ny
