does any one know if the carbs on my motor have idle bleed screws? the manuel i have for the motor says i do, but the book has has different carbs than what my motor actually has on it.<br />i don't see screws in the upper carb throat. so as a last resort i came here to ask. i'm running out of things to check on why i can't idle in water. and IF i can get it in gear, it runs beautifully. i can't help but think that once it idles i'm in for a great season

Look on the carb body, not the float bowl, on both the port and starboard sides and you will find screw plugs. Behind the plugs are the idle orifices. There are no air bleed orifices in these carbs throats.
