do i really need the thermostat in place ?
i'm posting lots of questions in different threads i know, but i'm trying to continue to place the motor in the topic.
this motor is a fresh rebuild, and to MAKE sure i don't have a overheating issue, i removed the thermostat. will this cause any undesired effects while sitting at home on the flush hose ?

The t-stat is there for a reason, if you run it without one, it will cause other problems, the engine will take a long time to get to operating temp and may never reach it, and you will have rough idle and other driveability problems.

Also will cause motor to use more petrol and will cause engine to run ruff. Put thermostat back in
