Hey guys, I finally got the bell-housing off the boat used a saw and cut the thing off worked great! The bolt is still stuck in the bell housing and I am considering ways to get it out thinking a vise or similar or drilling out and using helicoil but the shift cable bolt is also stuck I can't get it out I think it is a 9/16 bolt but there just is not much room for the socket to grab it. So now I am contemplating just getting a used bell housing from eBay just to be done with it. I want to make sure I order the right one. I don't think I have a ridge for the U-Joint bellows. The lower is a 1967-1977 165 Mercruiser.
