The pump does not work.
The motor corrode inside out.
Is it worthy to fix it? Or is it possible to fix it?

If the pump is going to be replaced, what part should I buy? The pump motor only?
Or can I just buy any other similar pump which can hook up with the two cylinders?

Thanks.

There used to be a replacement from ARCO. It was the pump motor and upper reservoir assembly. You would need to attach the lower pump/reservoir from your motor to the replacement assembly.

I am not sure if they are still available. I would search the ARCO site and see. There was a replacement pump that looked like it would fit, but the armature was too short to drive the pump. Be sure to match it up exactly. best by OEM part number.

Power Trim is a great addition to a motor; does the center part turn? pull it out of the shell and remove any rust from the sides you are going to need a new top cap (I got one at my Mercury dealer) and you will have to clean the casing. At this point you've nothing to lose. Yes you can buy another one.

Yeah. I will try my best to clean it up to see if I can save it.

This is my first boat. Is the power trim very necessary for the running?

What should I do if I don't have the power trim?
