Advise please..

1st, there is no info on this motor, Don't no If it runs or not. But it looks great just at a glance, But all wirering must be done I can see that .. Just bought the boat. The lower unit is dropped .Just starting a check list on major tune-up on this 77 murc. Any thought on this matter, Any advise would be appreciated..Any secrets so on.

Just starting this full nogo to go on this moter. So need to Start somewrere BUT WHERE...HELP

you need to make the wiring safe to crank the engine . then remove the sparkplugs and squirt some motor oil in the cylinders . then spin the flywheel by hand a few revolutions . then do a compression checkby cranking the engine with the starter. if compression fine then repair wiring harness ( new ones sold on ebay ) then check for spark and we will proceed from there.

Heck. oil her up as described. Now spin the starter by using jumper cables, and take a compression test. Post results.
