Does anyone have a chart of some sort that will show power head compatibility? I have a 1977 engine block and a 1986 body. The power head is 115 horses and the body originally had 90 on it.

Thanks

You can snoop through the OMC original factory parts lists at: epc.brp.com. The answer is in these diagrams/part lists. You will fine the powerhead won't work on the 86 midsection. That 77 115 was the last year of the single thermostat. (except the 140 model) In 1978 the powerhead bottom was redesigned to accommodate water flow through dual thermostats. When this redesign was done, the older powerheads won't bolt up to the newer midsections. And vice versa.
