I need interior parts for my boat. It is a Ranger General Marine 22ft Cuddy Cabin. I have looked long and hard to find information on this boat with little luck. After more research it appears the hull and design is an exact match to the Sea Ray SRV 22. Possible Ranger General Marine shared the molds??? The boat I have is a 1977 model. It is equipped with a 351w Ford and a 280 VP drive.

What specific parts are you looking for ? What are the chances that another 1977 boat (Sea ray or otherwise), will have usable parts?

Keep in mind, many parts to boats are generic.

I see that you have a thread from a couple of years ago about this boat . . .

Hard parts, such as small stove located port side just left of cabin door. Stern seats and hardware. The boat has a thru hull fitting on the starboard side about midway. It has been plugged but I do not know what it was used for. The boat has been modified for fishing, in place of the stern seats downriggers had been mounted on each side, they were later removed before I purchased the boat. My plan is to restore it to more original condition. The PO used the boat for offshore fishing on the Oregon coast then moved to my area inland. I guess I really do not know how it was set up originally and would need some help in that area.

Not much chance another boat of that vintage would have usable parts but I thought I would ask. Very few older boats in my area like this one, I like the wider beam and more sturdy hull etc. Thanks for the reply!

sounds like a cool boat, got any pics? - overall of the boat, then a bit closer to see in general where the things are you're looking for, then close-ups of those things - might help you get better help

stoves and standard hardware come from a catalog like the old Glennmar marin catalog.

seats are upholstered usually either by a local shop or by in-house upholstery

many of the hardware companies have gone out of business over the past 40 years.

the thru-hull was probably the grey-water discharge (sink) and is no-longer legal.
