1978 115 evinrude don't like the lake but runs on land!!!!

Hey everyone! I have a 1978 115 evinrude that I take to the lake, about 3 miles away and when i get there and back the boat in the motor will start and run a few minutes and die, no spark. i've checked for lose connections and find nothing, I get pissed and head to the house and back it in at the house and hook the muffs up and it fires right up and runs fine. anyone have any ideas?

Something in your ignition system is shorting out when it gets warm, slayer. Use a hair dryer to identify what makes it quit when warmed up.

Why will it do it at the lake in minutes and not at all at the house? Thanks for the reply
