replaced coils, They were given to me off another motor, the older ones were working fine' I just thought the newer ones would help performance. Guess not lol Now it runs but won't go over 3000 rpm and spits and sputters. its done this before but don't know what I did to fix it. ( Check fuel lines, and spark plugs, made sure had spark. took it out and ran it the next day and it was fine. till today) I put the old coils back on and same thing. I replaced the connector from the fuel line to the motor, cause i'd read on here someone had the same problem with that and it didn't fix it. Thanks if you reply.

If shes sparking on all cylinders, pull the plugs after running and verify that they are all wet with fuel.

With the engine running on muffs or in the water feel the cylinder heads if one is noticeably cooler than the other you know which side of the block the problem is on. No spark means no fire, and no fire means no heat. It will help to isolate the problem. You are dealing with 4 coils, 4 plug wires, 4 spark plugs, 2 powerpacks and enough wire and connectors to drive you insane, this quick check will cut that in half. Assuming that spark is the issue of course...
