I have 1978 mercury 1400 with 3 sidebowl carbs. While disassembling them for a thorough cleaning I noticed the idle tube had plastic ball bearings on top of each one but in the process of blowing out the carbs 2 of the beads were lost. Can anyone tell me what they are for and do they have to be there. Thanks
