1978 15 HP Johnson Tight Throttle Grip Handle

I have a 1978 15 HP Johnson with a tight throttle grip, I found a grease fitting for the swing arm and it's free. But when I swing the arm down to engage the throttle system it's tight.
I don't see a grease fitting the lower section, how can I grease or lubricate it?

I do have a manual, but don't find this topic covered.

Ant help would be appreciated.

there is some aspects of your question covered in leeroys ramblings. i would look to see where the linkage connects to the timer base and disconnect it there just to isolate the issue. jmo
